A while ago I purchased my spiralizer from Bed Bath and Beyond and I used it just once, then on Wednesday I decided I should use it more often. I went to the grocery store and purchased a pound of Shrimp, 3 zucchinis, some broccoli, 3 tomatoes and some Late July chips……………. I can not let go of chips 😦
So I washed and cut the ends of the Zucchini and twisted it through the spiralizer and with the end product I added:
- A tablespoon of Apple Cider Vinegar
- A tablespoon of Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- A pinch of salt
- Couple of pine nuts
- Chopped tomatoes
And with the Shrimp I put it in a pan with:
- Red pepper flakes
- coconut oil
- red and green peppers
For the broccoli I coated it with coconut oil, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
I tried to keep the flavoring simple, I’m trying to learn slowly what flavors I like best and how to enhance flavors more so I didn’t want to go too overboard.
By the way, Coconut oil is the best thing ever. Absolutely wonderful and it gives everything a slightly nice flavor, the shrimp came out great with the coconut oil.
THE END PRODUCT:
It was great, it was light and I felt amazing after I ate it. It was very easy to make and everyone should try it! 😀
