Snocap Drive in: Review
Last week my family and I visited Snocap Drive in and it did not disappoint.
Snocap is a locally owned restaurant in North Augusta, SC that takes you back in time to the 1960’s. They have burgers, hot dogs, floats and even smiley face french fries.
Heading over there, Jacob and I were anticipating a greasy-fatty dinner. We decided that this would be our super cheat meal and that it was okay because we never really eat like this.
We arrived around 8pm, it wasn’t packed like we expected but there were some families. Jacob and I ordered the following:
- The bacon cheesy burger with lettuce, tomato, mayo, mustard and jalapenos with fries
- The smokehouse with pulled pork added, onion ring, lettuce, tomato, jalapenos with fries
- A root beer float to share
Our waitress was so nice, she mentioned that she was actually a vegetarian and that the black bean burgers they have are really good. She definitely helped to make the experience better.
Our food also came out so quick and it was AMAZING! It wasn’t as greasy as we thought it would be. The meat tasted clean and fresh which was refreshing. Snocap gets their meat from Laniers Meat Market which is actually a local to the CSRA. Their buns are also from a local bakery and their root beer is Red Hare Root Beer which is based out of Marietta, Georgia. No wonder their food tasted so good. Another thing that was awesome about Snocap is their prices, a root beer float for $3.75? Yes please!
This place is a must visit! They’re open Monday-Saturday from 10:30 am to 9 pm so you have plenty of time to go stuff yourself with amazing food!
