I have found my favorite brunch place in Augusta, Ga. FINALLY! Bodega Ultima is located in Surrey Center, a cute little plaza with restaurants and shops.
So coming in my sister and I were excited to get some breakfast but they only serve breakfast from 8-11, bummer. But their lunch menu was equally appetizing. There were a lot of people inside which got me even more excited.
About Bodega Ultima
Bodega Ultima is located in Surrey Center, in Augusta, Georgia. This amazing place is ran by the father/son pair Kevin and Cary Goldsmith. They also own and operate Takosushi, which is another amazing place with several locations in Georgia and South Carolina. If you go to a Takosushi, I highly recommend ordering their chips & queso. It’s my favorite thing on the menu.
“Bodega Ultima’s food mixes culinary trends of the Mediterranean with a dash of Indian techniques.”
Items on the menu:
“The Basque” – this is a sandwich with ” Fresh ricotta, tomato, avocado, chorizo, omelette(from organic brown egg) with house aioli”
Lox bagel – ” toasted bagel with house-cured salmon, cream cheese (whipped with goat’s milk yogurt) red onion, tomato, and capers”
“Giant Pastrami and Corned Beef” – “pastrami and Corned Beef piled high on marbled rye, with lettuce, tomato, horseradish, mustard and provolone.”
What we ordered:
A coffee was a must, I didn’t venture out, I just got an iced coffee
Smoked salmon BLT
Trashcan wrap with salmon
Everything was so good and tasted fresh. Since this initial visit, I have been several times. They have amazing breakfast sandwiches and refreshing drinks, like their fresh grapefruit juice.
