The great thing about my life right now (besides being engaged and blessed beyond measure) is that I went from working full time to working part time! Yes, there is a side of me that is freaking out because I have so much free time now but, let me tell you, I can relax, focus on school and really take care of myself.
And that is where this Indian Healing Clay comes in. This stuff is amazing! It is so easy to use and it gets rid of everything that has been building up on your face. Let me give credit where credit is due, shout out to my sister in law who put me on to this clay a couple of years ago!
- A small plastic bowl
- A plastic spoon
- Apple cider vinegar
- Healing Clay
**** Make sure you are not using metal, the clay reacts to it! ****
How I usually do it is I put 1/4 teaspoon of the clay into my bowl and add in the vinegar drop by drop. The vinegar reacts with the clay immediately so you have to just give it a little time before you add in more. Once it’s all mixed I apply a thick layer to my face and just wait for it to dry. You will definitely feel this mask working, your skin WILL be pulsating. You won’t be able to talk because your skin is so tight but wow the results are amazing! My face is always blotchy after washing the mask off so make sure you’re not doing this an hour before you have to be somewhere. You’re skin will feel so clean and fresh after this mask, it is currently the only one I use! Once my face is dry I moisturize with just a little coconut oil and then I just bask in the amazingness that is my new skin!
This is a must buy, simply click the picture below! You will not regret it.
If you try it out or have any comments let me know, I’d love to hear about it!
Every girl (for the most part) wants perfect skin, strong nails and silky smooth hair, I am definitely part of this population. For a while now I have been playing with the idea of buying some biotin vitamins, I was just unsure as to which brand I should buy. I finally gave in and decided to buy Olly’s Undeniable Beauty grapefruit vitamins for hair, skin and nails. As the directions say I took 2 gummies a day for a month. They taste amazing and I’d really love to just eat them all at one time. You obviously don’t see results right away so I completely forgot about monitoring my results.
It wasn’t until yesterday that I realized that it most definitely gave me acne. My vitamins ran out about a week ago and I didn’t buy a new pack because I just wasn’t sure. My mother commented several times that I was breaking out and I didn’t really think about the gummies causing this… but it has to be, right?!
My acne isn’t severe nor is it gross, so I decided to give it another month. And luckily GNC was having a special where you buy one you get the next half off so I just had to buy two.
I’ll let you guys know what happens. I am really happy that my nails have grown stronger though. Before if my nails grew long they were weak and would unfortunately break. So let’s see what happens!
Let me know if you guys know anything about these or have any insight! I’d love to hear.
Have a great Tuesday!
When it says magic soap, it really means MAGIC. I’m all about not only eating organic but also using organic household cleaners and hygiene products. The best places to look for organic products but not spend “organic” money are places like Ross, Marshall’s and TJ Maxx. I like buying coconut oil, soaps and shampoos from these places. You do save a little shopping here versus Whole Foods.
I came across this soap and I decided to go for it and just give it a shot. The first time I used it I was blown away, BLOWWNN AWAY. I put just a little bit in my hand and that little bit turned into a lot. WHATTTT? I was so excited, it was silky smooth and smelled amazing. It foams up just a bit and it leaves me feeling cleaner than I have ever felt.
This soap DOES leave my skin feeling dry but after showering I always moisturize with coconut oil so it balances out. That’s really the only negative thing I have to say about this soap.
You know how there are jokes about showering and how 90% of it is thinking and reading bottles and the other 10% is actually spent cleaning yourself. Well this bottle is a great read. I literally have no idea what the bottle is trying to tell me! But it’s always interesting and I find a new quote every time I read it. In general it talks about “the moral ABC that unites all mankind”.
The company works on fighting to label GMO’s, standing up for animals, fair pay for all people, and authentic fair trade. If you visit their website the quote towards the bottom goes “In all we do, let us be generous, fair & loving to Spaceship Earth and all it’s inhabitants. For we’re All-One or None! All-One!”
(No shade but Spaceship Earth? This is what I’m talking about when I say I have no idea if the bottle is speaking about real life or not)
It’s seriously a great soap and a great company. I definitely suggest switching soaps (If you’re not already using an organic soap) and giving this one a chance.
If you do let me know what you guys think! I’d love your feedback.
A couple months ago I was in the search for organic products such as deodorant, shampoo and toothpaste. I came across this company named Fran Kramer and I was so excited to try their products. On their website they claim they use “only the best all natural, certified organic materials”. Which is great! I have been so tired of using products that have chemicals, are bleached and just really aren’t good for us. They have other products like masks, balm, and perfume oil, but I decided just to try out one of their toothpastes. It was $6.00, made with baking soda, coconut oil, vegetable glycerin, and peppermint extract.
The toothpaste lasted me for a good amount of time. I really liked it, it left my mouth clean but it wasn’t like the regular toothpaste clean feeling where your mouth kinda burns. (I’m not sure if other people feel like that when they use toothpaste and mouthwash)
But it’s really good, I definitely recommend it, or you can just make your own toothpaste, (which I have done, I just didn’t have any vegetable glycerin).
They’re a great company, doing great things!
Here’s their website:
Let me know of any other organic products that you guys love!
I’m currently in search of organic makeup!
Have a great Tuesday! ❤
I have stopped going to get my eyebrows done at a salon for about 2 months now and my sister does them instead. She mentioned that we should do a sugar wax instead and I was extremely intrigued. I looked up how to do it and it’s really easy.
In a pot we took 1 cup of sugar, 4 tablespoons of water and 4 tablespoons of lemon juice and just let it boil. You must constantly stir it so it doesn’t burn. Once it starts to boil we turned down the heat a little so it wouldn’t burn. Once it gets like a slightly caramel color it is done!
My sister started to wax my eyebrows. And we cut strips of parchment paper to take the wax off with.
This stuff is messy!
It was a fun and tasty experiment. It leaves your skin nice and smooth but I think I’ll stick with shaving just because it’s less of a hassle.
There are salons that do sugaring so that would probably be a better experience. But give it a try! It’s fun and something new. Let me know how it goes and what you did that was probably a little different!
Have a great Thursday

Probably about a couple of days ago I read about the benefits of black pepper and I was really interested. I never really looked into the benefits of this since it is so common, I guess I kind of overlooked it. But black pepper is said to improve digestion, aids in weight loss and is even good for your skin! Ever since I’ve started to pay attention to cleaning my face and paying attention to my appearance, I have always had blackheads on my nose. I absolutely hate them. I tried so hard constantly cleaning my face with products and I finally gave up. I just can’t get rid of them. I wanted to be able to wake up in the morning, fresh faced, and not have to worry about whats on my face, but every morning I woke up with blackheads. I just learned to suck it up. I came to the conclusion that I’ll always have them and I’ll just have to live with it. THEN when I came across these blog posts about how to seriously get rid of them I got really excited. Hopefully I won’t be disappointed once again. I decided to try this mask thing that I found. It’s 2 tablespoons of ground black pepper (I only used 1 because that’s a lot of pepper), 1 egg white (You can use yogurt or aloe vera), and a pinch of turmeric. When I saw it all come together I was like “Oh no, I don’t want to put this on my face” but I did it anyway. It was slimy, gross and cold. The instructions from the blog said it would be like a paste but she didn’t use egg whites, she used aloe vera so I’m assuming that’s why it came out like a paste. (Mine was just precooked scrambled egg batter basically) So I couldn’t really use it as a mask, I decided to gently scrub it on my face…… I scrubbed too much because after a while it started to burn. It wasn’t horrible but it was very uncomfortable. I waited probably about 2 minutes and rinsed it off with cold water, patted my face dry and moisturized with coconut oil. I was relieved that the burning was gone. I don’t necessarily recommend this mask but I do recommend looking into black pepper for your skin.
I’m going to continue on my search for the perfect blackhead prevention and I’ll let you guys know how it goes.
Have a great Tuesday!
A couple of months ago when my deodorant ran out… I didn’t go buy more. So I haven’t bought deodorant in months. I know what you’re probably thinking, that I’m gross and blah blah blah. But as you guys know I have been trying to get rid of products that contain so much unnecessary junk in it and deodorant is one of those products.
When I was younger I always loved going to the store and buying different scented deodorants, I thought it was amazing that your armpits could smell like passion fruit, rain forest and etc. But that love has gone away and I couldn’t care less about what different smells there are. For weeks I went without putting anything on my armpits besides cleaning them with soap and water when I showered. But honestly I needed to do something else. I love my own natural smell and it doesn’t bother me but I wasn’t feeling other people smelling me like that. Once again Apple Cider Vinegar has proved to be useful for something else. This vinegar is a gift from heaven, it does wonders for most things. In my house there are two bottles, one in the bathroom and one in the fridge. I highly recommend you guys do this too.
So now every other day I take a cotton ball with some apple cider vinegar and just clean my armpits with it after I shower. I only do it every other day because that’s what works for my body. Doctors say that since your armpits get wet once in a while it is the perfect environment for bacteria to grow and this vinegar is great at killing it.
I urge you guys to do this! I’m not sure how it’ll work for you but I love it. Let me know if you guys try it out and how it went!
